Yes, this Blendtec model will blend celery and carrots into a smoothie. We even have some great drink recipes that have carrots and celery in them:Wanna to bring back to Philippine. This blender is not compatible with 220v. If you use a converter, it will void the warranty. It can overheat if used under a very heavy load for a sustained period of time. What is the difference between the Blendtec® Professional Series™ Blender and the Blendtec® Total Blender? Are the motors the same? Is one better for making ice-cream, soups and smoothies than the other? I don't know which one to buy... Both of these blenders are discontinued products. However, the Classic Total Blender is available as a refurbished blender and works great for making ice cream, soups, smoothies, and more. we are a High School opening up a smoothie station during lunch time.
