Powerful motor, multiple settings, and such an ease to clean. The best blender money can buy! Very powerful and gets the job done. We like the varied cycle for frozen drinks. It is loud, but that comes with the 3 HP motor I guess! This Blendtec is so wonderful, and powerful, that it breezes through tough greens, even thistles, like a champ! It will blend just about anything. I left a spoon in it once. It didn't blend it, but it took a number of chunks out of the spoon and bent it before I could get it turned off.
