The tram departs every 30 minutes and the trip takes about 15 minutes. Sóller is particularly known for its cultivation of oranges as well as the speciality “Gamba de Sóller” (Sóller prawns). You can certainly taste one speciality or another on a trip to the weekly market in Sóller (always on a Saturday). It is also worth seeing the well-known orange groves as well as the terraces, where in some areas olive trees up to 1,000 years old can be seen.
