I've had the Dash blender for a couple of months now and I love it. I love that the main uses are pre-programmed, even the self cleaning!. I used it almost everyday to make smoothies. Everything gets ground down so there are no chunks. I have tried a couple of soups but that is a work in progress as I wasn't thinking and all the ingredients get ground down (duh!).

The tomato basil came out good. I like that I can tweek it as I go so that I can get the taste right for me. I would like to know where to get another pitcher for this and am glad that it is plastic. I have carpel tunnel and have gripping issues so the odds are better for me having the pitcher survive if I drop it. This is the main reason I'd like another pitcher. I have other blenders but for smoothies this is the only one I use any more. We've had this blender for 5 months and it's great. We make smoothies and other things, but still have to try to make soup. Will do that very soon. I recommend it to anyone. I am on a plant base meal and i wanted to make almond milk and so far it is working great,i even try making flour with the dry almond after I got the milk out and dry it in the oven and it came out great too.And yes it is big and heavy but I brought 2 from online and this one work better. I thought I did break it on the third day, but no I did no\t.You just have to make sure the pitcher is on correctly. I could not believe it but I did make a peach ice cream and then tomato soup. I do use it almost every morning now making smoothies. I love this green smoothie I was shocked how good it tasted but yum! I bought this when it was on special. It's worth every penny. Can't wait to make other soups. And the noise isn't any louder than my Oster blender I love this blender! My sister has a Vitamix for a LOT more money. When i told her about the watts, rpms, 7-year warrantee, and price she said we will have to do a 'blend-off'. I bet the results will be identical!! The only complaint i have is the hard to remove lid. I am afraid i will break the plastic container as i struggle with the lid.
