Zunächst zur Ausstattung: Der Mixer selbst besteht aus einem weiß-beigen Unterteil, das den Motorblock sicher einschließt sodass keine Flüssigkeiten hineingelangen können. Dazu benötigt man ein Mix- oder Mahlwerk, um mit jeweils 4 bzw 2 Klingen feuchte oder trockene Sachen mixen bzw.
Diese sind selbstverständlich im Lieferumfang der Pb 250XL enthalten. Des weiteren benötigt man Mixbecher, welche in den Größen 150 ml (klein), 300 ml (mittel) und 450 ml (groß) erhältlich sind. Im Lieferumfang des Pb 250XL sind 2 Kleine, 2 Mittlere und 2 Große Micbecher enthalten, die aus Tritan gefertigt und somit BPA frei sind. Der Personal Blender eignet sich sehr gut für die Herstellung von Smoothies (wobei sie natürlich lange nicht so cremig werden wie z.B. bei einem Vitamix – Dafür ist der Preis weitaus angenehmer), auch das Mahlen funktioniert sehr gut. Da man durch ein Herunterdrücken des Mixbechers die Mixfunktion einschaltet kann man auch unterschiedlich lange Mixen und so auch gut Pestos, etc. herstellen. Um länger zu Mixen kann man den Mixbecher durch einfaches drehen einrasten lassen. Dennoch ist ein Gebrauch von länger als 30 Sekunden am stück nicht empfehlenswert, da der Motor sonst überhitzen könnte. Einen kleinen Nachteil hat der Mixer jedoch, und dieser liegt bei den Mixbechern.
