4th February 2015: Ade Adeyemo has been cleared as the Meriden Liberal Democrats Parliamentary Candidate in the 2015 general elections. Mr Adeyemo is a Chartered Civil Engineer and Risk Management Professional, working in the Insurance sector. He is a retired Rugby Football Union (RFU) Referee and Adviser with the Warwickshire Society who is actively involved in several local Voluntary and Community Associations in Solihull. Commenting on Mr Adeyemo’s selection as the party’s Parliamentary Candidate for Meriden, Sue Rose, Chair of the Lib Dem selection committee said: “Ade has demonstrated, through his work with the Local Party, that he is a highly-capable and hard-working campaigner.
