We needed something white to go with our kitchen and this was a great product to get. i have had this blender for several years but I haven't used it very frequently. Yesterday I took the glass blender out of the dishwasher and went to place the plastic top on it. Purchased this Blender for weeks and the result was an excellent pureed smoothie. But so far I am very impressed with the results, it is easy to clean and attractive too.Guaranteed to break in 20 uses or less of average use. Don't even think about making hummus or anything that requires a real blender. This blender is able to handle quite a number of textures, including raw kale. Its size makes it easy to store.So far the best blender we have ever used. This blender has not given me any problems so far.

Loved the light weight jar (I have young kids) and if they get it and drop it won't break. When I used the buttons you have to hold the on button down to mix or blend anything that is inside you can't walk away a minute. The numbers are alright once you get used to the blender but if your in a hurry you can't just glance down and see 'mix' 'blend' 'puree' little inconvenience. Also the ice isn't crushed all the way for a smoothie still leaves big chunks in the drink though the blender says it 'crushed ice'. The price was great which is another reason why I made the purchase. So disappointing in this blender, I am going to return it and get a different one that will work the way I expect it too. The first one turned out beautifully. When I set up the second one, a few seconds into mixing, the blender died...never to start again. Checked to make sure it was not my outlet or by breakers and plugged another appliance in to outlet. The other appliance worked. Not a good investment when it only worked less than three minutes (figures about $10 per minute cost to use after adding shipping and tax)!!!!
